Paddington

There aren’t any areas in central London that are as well connected as Paddington.

Paddington sits at the bottom end of the Grand Union Canal which was opened in 1805 as a means to improve trade routes between London, Birmingham and the Midlands. In 1838 communication routes were improved even further by the introduction of Paddington Station, a Grade 1 listed building and considered one of the most important railway stations in the world. It is also the world’s first underground station and of course the place where the Brown family came across Paddington Bear, sat on his suitcase wearing a label stating “Please look after this bear. Thank you”.

In recent years Paddington has seen huge vision, combined with capital investment, and is now a vibrant area to live, work and play and one of London’s most sought after locations.
